Skin Tightening:  Non Surgical Face Lift

We are proud to offer an FDA approved skin tightening system - Sciton ST (Skin Tyte™).  Skin Tyte™ offers a safe, non-surgical process that uses an infrared light source to tighten skin and reverse the signs of aging. Skin Tyte™ utilizes an infrared system that heats the collagen under the skin and causes skin contracture while protecting the upper area of the skin through cooling.
There is no downtime and treatment is done without any topical anesthesia. There is an immediate tightening noted and also a delayed tightening that occurs between 3-6 months. Results are noted after 1 procedure but better results are realized by 2-4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. These new devices appear to be more consistent in their tightening then older radiofrequency tightening systems.
Skin Tyte™ is used on the face, neck, and hands, as well as the breasts, arms, abdomen and legs.

Photo Facial Rejuvenation

An exciting new procedure is now available which treats a combination of aging changes of the face, neck and upper chest.  IPL or “Photo Facial” involves the use of an intense pulsed-light device to deliver a series of gentle pulses of light to the skin.  Specific parameters are selected for each type of treatment to ensure optimal results.  IPL therapy is effective for the removal of sun-damage, pigmentation changes, small facial veins, freckles, and other skin blemishes.  The Photo Facial is considered by many to be the most useful recent advance in cosmetic treatments for the skin.  In the majority of patients, Photo Facial Rejuvenation provides consistent, visible improvement in the skin with no downtime, little discomfort and minimal risk.

Spider Vein Removal

The Sciton 1064 YAG laser is a superior laser system that quickly, safely and effectively treats a broad range of vessels from tiny spider veins to deep blue reticular veins.  Patients with dark, light or tanned skin can experience outstanding results with minimal bruising or blistering.   Patients with knotty varicose veins are not suitable candidates.  Often, patients find that one to two treatments are sufficient, however, additional treatments may be needed depending on the number, color, and size of the vessels being treated.  Since individual results vary, ask our experts about your specific condition.

Micro Laser Peel

If you are looking for more than microdermabrasion or light chemical peels, and have little time for a prolonged healing process, then the Micro Laser Peel was designed for you.

Employing the technology of refined erbium lasers, we are able to achieve ultimate precision in skin resurfacing to uniformly smooth the skin and remove uneven pigmentation, fine lines, and scarring.  The Micro Laser Peel is a partial-to-full epidermal peel (20-50 microns) and is performed with topical anesthetic.  Because this procedure ablates deeper into the epidermis, it is the perfect step between microdermabrasion and more aggressive surgical skin resurfacing associated with prolonged recovery.

Healing takes 3-4 days. The procedure can be performed on a Thursday or Friday, so you can return to work the following Monday.  Symptoms immediately following the procedure resemble a sunburn, with minor sloughing on the second day. Redness will begin to fade by the third day, and be easily covered by makeup on the fourth day.  For optimal results, the procedure should be repeated 2 -4 times, spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
